The Washington Comma...The Washington Commanders signed free-agent defensive end T.J. Maguranyanga to an undisclosed deal on Thursday, according to NFL.com. The 22-year-old former professional rugby player from Harare, Zimbabwe, comes to Washington via the NFL's International Player Pathway program. He most recently played for ASM Clermont Auvergne in the French Top 14, a French rugby union league. Maguranyanga also played for the Golden Lions in the Under-18 Craven Week from 2015 to 2021. He'll just be hoping to make an impression on the Commanders' coaching staff while learning the game this summer heading into training camp. Maguranyanga will be a long shot to see regular playing time as he transitions to American football in 2025.
